Andrew Kruit (Incumbent)
Andrew (Andy) Kruit has been a member of SCU since October 2018 and desires to continue serving on SCU’s Board of Directors in the coming term. Appointed by the SCU Board to an Associate Director position in January 2019, then elected to the Board of Directors at the annual membership meeting in March 2019, he’s provided valuable discussion points to ongoing strategies and enjoys serving SCU members. Credit unions aren’t new to Andy as he’s been a member of one since a very young age. He believes the role of the credit union is to encourage members to develop regular habits of savings by providing appropriate vehicles for them to build economic security and encourage prudent borrowing. Appropriately, he brings valuable experiences from his diverse professional and personal backgrounds that has and will continue to keep SCU strategies ‘fresh,’ so members near and far from Stevens Point, WI can further take control of their financial futures.
Dennis Gruetzmacher (Incumbent)
Dennis Gruetzmacher was appointed by the SCU Board of Directors to an Associate Board position in May 2018 then elected as a Director in 2019. Dennis is currently a member of the ALM Committee. Dennis has been with Sentry for 17 years and has been an SCU member since 2010. Dennis is a life-long credit union supporter and feels there’s a high value to using a not-for-profit as your primary financial institution as they exist to serve their members.
Mike Bilbrey (Incumbent)
Mike Bilbrey (Incumbent) Mike retired from Sentry after a 24-year career. Mike and his family have been members of the Credit Union for 40 years. He currently serves as the Treasurer and recently served as the Chair of the Board of Directors. He also serves as Chair of the Asset Liability Management Committee. During his tenure on the Board, Mike has served on every Credit Union committee. His goal as a Board member is to maintain the unique qualities of our Credit Union that distinguish us from a bank. He wants our Credit Union to continue to provide quality and affordable financial services to Sentry associates, retirees, and family members.
